IT HAS been a long, but worthwhile fight to expand dialysis services at the Home Hill Hospital.
The Townsville Hospital & Health Service has confirmed that recruitment for additional nursing positions has been completed. It will be a great day when those staff start work and locals can have their treatment closer to home, saving them the hassle of travelling to Townsville several times a week.
