Kindred Spirits returns to entertain

IT IS on again – quality entertainment from the artistic talents of local residents, as Ruth Stockdale and her Kindred Spirits group of singers have been busily preparing for another of their popular concerts, with “a great variety of popular music, which is sure to entertain”.

The group has been rehearsing for several weeks for their “Musical Moments” afternoon, which will take place on Saturday, June 18. The concert will take place in the Minor Hall at the Burdekin Memorial Hall from 2pm, with doors opening at 1.30pm.

On top of the musical entertainment, there will be a multiple draw cent sale and the usual delicious afternoon tea. A great afternoon has been assured, with all proceeds going to the Queensland Cancer Fund.

Tickets are available from the members of the group or from Ruth Stockdale (4782 1399).
