ON THE SUBJECT of old pictures, Sweet FM has received thousands of photos from the now closed The Advocate and The Observer newspapers.
We are, at present, sorting and archiving early and historical photos from throughout the Burdekin Shire and when I say we have thousands of photos, I mean that literally.
This will be an ongoing project for a long time. Some of these pictures will find their way onto the installation in the park, all contributions are welcome—just a thought not all photos might be used.
