About Wilmar Sugar and Renewables
Wilmar Sugar and Renewables operates Inkerman Mill at Home Hill, one of four Wilmar sugar mills in the Burdekin Shire and an important part of the district’s sugarcane industry.
Inkerman Mill has operated since 1914 and forms part of the extensive milling, cane-rail and renewable-energy infrastructure that supports growers, employment and economic activity across the Burdekin. Wilmar is a major Australian producer of raw sugar and continues to invest in the region’s sugar and renewable operations.
