ANOTHER major milestone for the Home Hill Boat Club will soon be the installation of solar panels at the Groper Creek playground.
Following extensive community consultation, ongoing collaboration with the Burdekin Shire Council and solar experts Horan & Bird, the Home Hill Boat Club finalised its solar project at its July monthly meeting, which was attended by club members, Cris Detenon and Perry, along with Horan & Bird representatives.
The project will be win-win for the community, providing shade structure over the soon to be revamped playground whilst lowering electricity costs and bettering our ecological footprint.
