AFTER a two-year break caused by the COVID Pandemic, the annual Burdekin Uniting Church Christmas Craft Spectacular will be back in existence in December, 2022 – and bigger and better than ever.
The revived Craft Spectacular will take place at the Burdekin Memorial Hall on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9am to 2pm, with an entry fee of $10 per person, while group bookings of 10 or more will be $12 each, which includes morning tea.
School aged children will have free entry. The day will include four $100 draws as well as a huge array of stalls and demonstrations to keep the crowd entertained.
The program will include a Children’s Treasure Hunt, with each participating child receiving a prize. A dining room will be open, while a High Tea trolley will be operating during the day and a cake stall will also be in operation.
Adults and children have been encouraged to get creative and enter the Craft Spectacular competition to hand make a Christmas decoration at home.
The competition has an entry fee of two dollars and the decorations will be judged by the public with a gold coin donation.
Funds raised will be donated to the Lower Burdekin St. Andrews Meals on Wheels and the most popular entry will receive a prize.
Entries must be submitted by 8am on the day of the event, or they can be left at the Home Hill Newsagency prior to the day of the Spectacular in December.
Any enquiries relevant to the Craft Spectacular should be directed to Judy Berryman by phoning 0428 877 883.
