If you keep your eyes peeled while watching the megastars’ latest movie, Ticket to Paradise, you will catch a glimpse of the Cannavan family’s Groper Creek-based vessel, Ocean Karma.
After ignoring what he thought were a “few hoax calls”, Lee Cannavan said Ocean Karma was hired for the movie’s filming in the nearby Whitsundays.
“They actually provided us with the idea to extend the front deck, which works really well,” Lee said. “The crew provided their own skipper, so I didn’t get called upon to act luckily – but, yes it was a great project to be involved in and a real brush with fame for our farm shed-built boat, Ocean Karma”.
