THE Burdekin Machinery Preservationists (BMP) will be hosting their annual Open day at their Spiller Street, Brandon home on Sunday, November 6, with a number of Home Hill based members being on site to help demonstrate the large number of historic machinery items on display.
The event has been described as “a great day”, as the BMP have restored some new items to add to the collection.
The local public is welcome to attend the Open Day, which takes places from 9am to 3pm with a $10 admission fee. Children are free.
The BMP members meet on the last Monday of the month at their Brandon Precinct, commencing at 7.30pm and new members are very welcome to attend.
