DERBY Day has again proven to be the Burdekin Race Club’s second biggest event of the year with a huge crowd in attendance for the six-race program and a fashions bonanza.
The day featured a special ‘Ladies Day’ area, several feature races including the Russell Reguson Memorial, the Bill (Cody) Prizeman Memorial and the Justin Scott Memorial and the Country Cups Challenge Qualifier.
Jockey Nathan Day was successful in three of the four races that he rode in.
