I WAS honoured to attend the Home Hill ANZAC Day ceremony on April 25, 2023 at the Cenotaph in the Home Hill Park.
The ceremony was attended by current and former servicemen and women, school students, distinguished guests and the wider community.
To see so many people attend, not only the ceremony, but the street parade, was encouraging.
As Australians, it is our duty to ensure that those who gave their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today continue to receive the dignity, respect and gratitude they have come to deserve.
