PROSPECTVE entrants in the annual Canefields Ephemera for 2023, held in conjunction with the Home Hill Harvest Festival celebrations, have been reminded that entry forms must be submitted by June 30, 2023.
Described as “Home Hill’s Ephemera, which is in its sixth year, is a much-loved and anticipated annual event, which has continued to grow over the years.
Organiser of the 2023 display, Uli Liessmann has urged prospective entrants to submit their entry form by June 30.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, July 8 and catalogue information and finalisation of the image should be completed by September 1.
The displays are to be installed between Monday, October 8 and Sunday, October 22 with the opening event on September 22.
The entries will be on display in Lloyd Mann Gardens from. Sunday, October 22 through to Monday, November 19, with the demount to take place from Sunday, November 7 to Sunday, November 12.

Prizes will be:
- Open – $1500
- People’s Choice – $500
The Ephemera is open to all artists including schools and community groups. Artworks must be original and all exhibits will be displayed in Lloyd Mann Gardens.
A maximum of 10 exhibits will compete for the prize money, although other artists can still exhibit even if they are not accepted in the first 10.
The $300 artist’s fee from the Harvest Festival Committee, will be available for each of the 10 successful entries to go towards costs associated with the exhibit.
An amount of $150 will be provided initially and the remaining $150 upon installation.
The entry form must be completed by the due date to be considered for the artist’s fee.
Successful entrants must produce an exhibit for the Ephemera.
Awards will be announced at the Harvest Festival Launch in Lloyd Mann Gardens on Sunday, September 11, 2022 and all exhibits must remain on display until the end of the Harvest Festival period in November.
