LONG term residents of the local community or even those new to the area are being invited by the Burdekin Artisan Community Association Inc. to join them for a weekly Thursday social morning, where they can fulfil their arts and crafts cravings over a “cuppa”..
The Association is planning to host the mornings each Thursday, where anyone interested can “come and join a friendly group of arts and crafts people”.
The social morning will take place from 10.30am to 12.30pm each week, with tea and coffee available to add to the morning’s activities.
Those attending have also been invited to take along any unfinished items of arts or crafts that they can work on while talking to other like-minded attendees.
The social mornings will take place at the Burdekin Artisan Community Association’s home at 170 Arts on the Avenue (adjacent to Ashworth’s Rock Shop).
