BURDEKIN residents will be able to really add to their Christmas this year as they undertake a journey Around the World in 20 Songs through the talents of the members of the Home Hill Choral Society.
The Society’s productions have been growing in popularity amongst their supporters and this one will be no exception, as patrons enjoy 20 traditional/folk songs from places around the world such as Australia, Ireland, Scotland and America – to name a few – as well as Humour – also from all over the world – at a cost of $35 per head, which includes entertainment and supper.
Choral Society members suggest patrons should “have a good laugh, if not forget their troubles for a couple of hours in air-conditioned comfort”. They will then enjoy a “Scrumptious supper” provided by the Choir members.
Limited seating is available, so bookings are essential.
With that in mind, the Society has added an extra afternoon performance to ensure more people are able to see the show.
For those who do not like going out at night, the Choral Society has suggested that they “do not miss out on the last performance for the year”.
Around the World in 20 Songs – All Things Folk is on at The Vault at 93 Eighth Avenue, Home Hill on:
- Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 7.30pm;
- Sunday, December 3 at 1.30pm;
- Friday, December 8, at 7.30pm; and on
- Saturday December 9, at 1.30pm.
