Social and Networking Event April 2026

The Home Hill Chamber of Commerce Social and Networking Event will be held at 5:30 pm on the third Wednesday of the month at the Home Hill Community Sports Club, 87 Ninth Avenue, Home Hill, Qld 4806.

Our guest speaker will be Owen Menkens – Chairman of Canegrowers Australia and President of the World Association of Beet and Cane Growers (WABCG).

For almost a century, Canegrowers has stood beside growers – supporting their businesses, representing their interests, and shaping the industry’s future.

The World Association of Beet and Cane Growers (WABCG) is the international organisation which groups together the national and regional associations of sugar beet and sugar cane growers at international level.

WABCG has 37 member associations uniting sugar beet and sugar cane growers from the five continents. WABCG is present in 34 countries, producing 60% of world sugar production.

The meeting is open to Chamber Members as well as Members of the Public.
