The Home Hill Chamber of Commerce Social and Networking Event will be held at 5:30 pm on the third Wednesday of the month at the Home Hill Community Sports Club, 87 Ninth Avenue, Home Hill, Qld 4806.
Our guest speakers will be:
- Linda Butler from KDEE Designs
Linda Butler of KDEE DESIGNS in Ayr offers a personalised graphic design, printing and photocopying service and has over 40 years of experience in the graphic design and printing industry.
Linda will be talking about how Graphic Design has progressed through the ages from the days to when Graphic Design was done using pen and paper through to the highly technical use of computerised systems to produce complete branding packages including anything from individual logo designs and corporate brochures through to high quality programs and major multipage booklets.
She started before computers became such an integral part of the industry.
With a Diploma of Arts under her belt, she has an understanding of the basics of good graphic design and the use of colour and typography.
Anyone can use a computer to make a design, but knowing what makes good design plays a critical role in creating strong, successful businesses.
