AFTER six weeks, the Parliament Sittings resumed in October, extending by one day to make up for the postponed sitting at the end of September and there was certainly plenty to prosecute.
In Queensland and particularly the Burdekin, we are lucky to be able to access fresh locally caught seafood, whether we go out on the water and catch it ourselves or support our local commercial fishermen by purchasing product from them.
It’s why I spoke in support of a bill which would see restaurants show on their menus where their seafood comes from.
