STABILISATION works at Mosquito Creek were held up in October and are now scheduled to take place early this month.
Members of the public have been reminded to please keep clear of the area whilst the works are underway.
La Nina rains arrived right on queue with some heavy falls recorded, delaying the crushing, but filling depleted rainwater tanks and laying the dust.
Many are planning a Creek Christmas, with community groups holding their break-ups and park bookings over the Christmas/New Year period up 100 per cent on previous years. Hopefully the weather holds out.
