AT LAST the Burdekin Shire Council is moving to update parts of the Home Hill Central Business District, with new, modern seating, refuse bins and garden displays appearing around the shopping centre.
The Chamber of Commerce has been calling for the improvements for a long time— especially with the new facilities in place in the Ayr CBD for a much longer time.
We can only hope that the council will be able to find more areas in Home Hill to continue their improvements, especially with residents having to pay their rates in the near future.
