FUNDS raised via State of Origin barbecues and the collection of recyclable cans throughout the caravan park and community enabled the Groper Creek Rural Fire Brigade to recently contribute $2000 towards the Home Hill Tennis Club’s Rally For A Cure.
Groper Creek’s First Officer Dan Garvey (pictured) presented the cheque to Kate Casswell, who said the club’s event surpassed all expectations, both fundraising and participation wise, with over $22,500 donated to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
