IT was fantastic to join Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, Tony Perrett to meet with farmers and commercial fishermen in our local area.
From rising production costs and poor mill performance being faced by our sugar cane farmers, to the red tape currently strangling our commercial fishermen, it’s a disgrace to see our primary industries targeted by this state government.
Tony was able to hear directly from our fishers and farmers about the impact these issues are having on those major primary industries and reaffirm our support as the LNP, that we will support these vital industries.
