Gateway to Home Hill erected in the Lloyd Mann Park

Lloyd Mann Park Gateway to Home Hill

It’s been a long slog and after more than one year the “Gateway to Home Hill” was erected on the 8thNovember 2022 in the Lloyd Mann Park.

The idea, conception and planning were done by me.

The fabrication of the installation was by Vass Engineering and built by employee and tradesman Scott Apelt.

The construction and erection in the park including safety standards was undertaken by Liessmann and Sons’ qualified trade employees.

This is linked to the Home Hill Harvest Festival Ephemera to complement the other installations that are already in the park.

I must thank Council as the finances came through the RADF Arts Grant and this would not have been possible without the assistance of Janice Horan.

I appreciate all the help to have reached this stage of the project.

The pictures are still to come to finalize this installation; this has demonstrated nothing is impossible.

This project is a tribute to not only the pioneers but also to present day Home Hillians who have contributed to this town in both big and small ways.
