A DISAPPOINTING habit is developing in Home Hill with a small minority of supermarket shoppers taking their groceries home from the supermarket in the trolleys and then leaving the empty shopping aid in and around the streets of our town.
The trolleys are provided by the supermarket to assist shoppers with transporting their grocery needs, but some people seem to overdo the friendship by carrying their usage a bit too far — literally, as some can be found many blocks away from where the shopping is originally carried out.
The empty trolleys can often be seen lying around the streets of much larger cities and towns—but it is only recently we have seen the empties left around Home Hill’s streets.
How hard is it for the guilty shoppers to show a bit of pride in the town and take the time to return the trolleys to where they came from after use?
