WORD of mouth has always been the best advertisement for the popularity of Home Hill’s Comfort Stop and a recent message that was passed on to us highlights how much benefit the Comfort Stop is to the town and how many visitors hear about it on social media.
This message came through in April, which could help to bring more visitors to town for events such as the first fire and hand cane cutting — “YIPPEE, I found a good 48 hour free rest area and the place is called the Home Hill Comfort Stop and it is about 100km from Townsville down the A1 in Queensland.
“The area is for self-contained caravans, motor homes and camper vans and the place where you park is Railway Avenue, the street behind the Comfort Stop sign on the main highway.”
The report goes on to provide details of the Comfort Stop, parking and everything else associated with the area—who needs paid advertising when reports like that are circulated nationwide?
Such reports have been promoting the Comfort Stop since it was first opened and will continue to do so.
