HOME HILL’s busy month of May now has an even bigger calendar of events, with the Home Hill Community Sports Club Inc. adding a Bowls Extravaganza on Sunday, May 28th to its program ahead of the Sweet Days Hot Nights Festival at the former Home Hill Showgrounds.

New Date for Rags to Runway

THE huge array of entertainment in and around the Home Hill district and even further afield has resulted in the Burdekin Artisan Community Association’s annual Burdekin Rags to Runway 2023 being postponed to June 17 to allow more of their prospective entrants and supporters to attend the popular event.

RESIDENTS of Home Hill who are “driven batty” by the current colony of flying foxes in Kidby’s Gully may be able to gain financial assistance towards solving their problems by following a “Flying Fox Roost Residents” on offer by the Townsville City Council to their ratepayers.
