IT IS good to see that our town is returning to some semblance of order in the Central Business District with the opening of a new much-needed service station.
The loss of our only BP service station meant that motorists had to drive over the river for the closest refill.
Now the former BP has turned into a United facility and it has brightened the southern end of the CBD enormously.
The town can only hope that the proposed Liberty service station will follow the United facility into the CBD to add a new lease of life to that part of the town as well as competition — which will help drive prices down.
