THE Home Hill Sub-Branch of the RSL concluded another year of activity at its recent 2023 Annual General Meeting, where all committee positions were filled as they moved into the year ahead. A YOUNG pianist, who grew up in the Burdekin District has returned for a dual purpose – to spend two weeks doing magical tricks on the synthesiser for the Shrek Musical; and display his skills on foot pedals as well as his hands on the keyboard and other buttons.
Applications Now Open for Community Fund Grants
APPLICATIONS are now open through the Haughton Solar Farm Community Fund for eligible community groups and not-for-profit organisations residing in Home Hill, Ayr, Brandon, Clare, Dalbeg, Giru and Millaroo to apply for project funding.
